Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases across multiple game builds and platforms
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Verify fixes for reported issues and perform regression testing
- Test game functionality, UI/UX, performance, and compatibility
- Validate localization and text displays across supported languages
- Conduct stress testing and identify edge-case scenarios
- Provide clear reproduction steps for identified issues
- Collaborate with developers to communicate bug severity and priority
- Maintain detailed test documentation and reports
- Stay current with testing methodologies and gaming trends
Qualifications And Skills
Technical Skills
- 2+ years professional game testing experience
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (functional, regression, compatibility)
- Experience with bug tracking software (JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of game development pipelines
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Gaming Knowledge
- Broad experience across multiple game genres and platforms
- Understanding of core game mechanics and design principles
- Familiarity with current gaming hardware and peripherals
