About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Technician to provide on-site quality support and help ensure that materials and parts meet established quality requirements. The primary focus of this role will be on basic inspection, measurement verification, sorting and containment activities, material identification, and accurate documentation of quality findings.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to quickly identify potential quality concerns and communicate issues to the appropriate Quality team members.
What You’ll Do
- Perform basic inspections and measurement verification using standard gauges.
- Support sorting, containment, and segregation of suspect material.
- Verify part number, lot number, Julian date, and other traceability requirements.
- Verify clean point and material identification.
- Document defects, including descriptions, pictures, and quantities.
- Maintain daily reports of inspected, OK, NOK, and pending quantities.
- Immediately communicate quality issues to the Quality team.
- Support additional analysis, inspection, and disposition activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and manufacturing quality processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
