MIDDLE QC ENGINEER
(Manual + Automation)
- Position: QC Engineer – qEEG Device (Firmware & Software)
- Level: Middle (2-3 years of experience)
- Department: R&D/ Medical Device Product Development
- Location: Floor 2, An Cu Duc Phu Building, 3/1 Thanh Thai Street, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Job type: Full-time (Office).
- Working time: Monday – Friday (9h00 – 18h00), take a nap for 1 hour.
- Salary: Market-competitive, negotiable based on experience and capability
Responsible for ensuring the quality of IoT, Embedded, and Healthcare Device products by performing end-to-end testing across the entire ecosystem – from Device → Edge → Cloud → Dashboard – to ensure system stability and reliability before release.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze requirements and create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports.
- Perform manual testing for:
+ IoT/Embedded Devices
+ Web Applications
+ Mobile Applications
+ RESTful APIs
- Validate communication between devices and backend systems via Bluetooth/BLE, MQTT, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP.
- Conduct testing on physical devices and verify the complete data flow from Device → Edge → Cloud → Dashboard.
- Validate key quality attributes, including:
+ Connectivity
+ Packet Loss
+ Latency
+ Data Integrity
+ Reliability
- Execute Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and Stability Testing.
- Develop test scripts and testing utilities using Python or JavaScript.
- Analyze system logs, verify defects, and support root cause analysis..
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years of experience in QC Engineer.
- Hands-on experience testing IoT devices, embedded systems, or hardware–software integrated solutions.
- Experience testing on physical devices is required.
- Experience in one or more of the following domains is highly preferred:
+ Healthcare
+ Medical Devices
+ Wearable Devices
+ Edge AI
+ Industrial IoT
+ Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
- Good understanding of communication protocols such as Bluetooth/BLE, MQTT, and TCP/IP.
- Ability to write Python or JavaScript scripts to support testing activities.
- Experience with Postman, Git, Jira, and basic SQL.
- Ability to analyze system logs, network packets, and data transmission between devices and cloud services.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Testing EEG devices, biosignal systems, or medical devices.
- Testing end-to-end Device → Edge → Cloud data pipelines.
- Experience with Bluetooth/BLE, MQTT, Serial/UART, or USB communication.
- Familiarity with testing and debugging tools such as Wireshark, MQTT Explorer, nRF Connect, or BLE Scanner.
- Experience performing Stress Testing, Stability Testing, or Long-Run Testing.
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, or CI/CD environments.
- Experience with Python-based Test Automation.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Passionate about testing IoT and Embedded systems, rather than focusing solely on web or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience working with physical devices, firmware, and hardware communication.
- Strong ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot communication protocols, and resolve end-to-end system issues.
- Experience in the Healthcare domain, particularly with EEG devices, is a significant advantage.
