About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join Geoharbour Group’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of major infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and quality control measures. The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure development sector is required, with proven experience managing large-scale projects. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in project management software and tools. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction safety standards, quality assurance processes, and environmental regulations. Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred, given the international scope of some projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project alignment. Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, and contingency plans. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Foster a collaborative team environment, motivate staff, and promote continuous improvement practices. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance project delivery.
