Job Summary
Responsible for conducting in-process inspections, monitoring product quality, and identifying, reporting, tracking, and assisting in the resolution of quality issues during production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection tasks during the module manufacturing process as assigned by the supervisor.
- Verify, report, track, and assist in resolving production process abnormalities and quality issues encountered during manufacturing.
- Conduct material and in-process inspections in accordance with inspection specifications, quality standards, work instructions, and approved samples.
- Promptly report potential issues related to inspection processes or methods, escalate recurring or batch-related quality issues, and follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inspection records, report quality issues identified during production, and track corrective actions through closure.
- Perform routine inspections and checks of inspection tools and equipment, and carry out reliability testing as required.
- Complete other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Work Requirements:
- Perform inspections at multiple production stations based on production schedules and operational needs.
- Rotate between production lines and inspection positions as assigned.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as required by business needs.
- Communicate effectively with production operators, technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Stand and walk for extended periods while working in a production environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or above.
- Previous manufacturing experience required; quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience in solar module manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, inspection standards, and quality procedures.
- Basic computer skills for recording inspection data and completing quality documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects and abnormalities.
