Job Description / Responsibility
- Conducted in-line quality inspections during the sewing process to ensure garments met buyer requirements.
- Inspected stitching, workmanship, measurements, and overall garment appearance.
- Identified sewing defects such as skipped stitches, open seams, puckering, oil stains, and incorrect operations.
- Checked fabric quality, trims, labels, prints, embroidery, and accessories for compliance with approved standards.
- Ensured garments were produced according to the approved sample, tech pack, and buyer specifications.
- Reported quality issues immediately to the production team and followed corrective actions.
- Monitored production quality to minimize defects and reduce rework.
- Coordinated with Production, QA teams to maintain quality standards.
- Maintained daily in-line inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensured compliance with buyer quality requirements before garments moved to the next production stage.
- Prepared and managed Top of Production (TOP) samples as per buyer requirements.
- Verified garment measurements, construction, fit, and workmanship before approval.
- Inspected fabric, trims, labels, prints, embroidery, wash, and finishing to ensure compliance with buyer requirements.
- Compared production samples with approved PP/TOP samples to maintain consistency in bulk production.
- Coordinated with Merchandising, Production, QA, and Sample teams to resolve sample-related issues.
- Identified quality defects and ensured corrective actions before bulk production.
- Prepared and submitted production samples for buyer approval within the required timeline.
- Maintained sample records, approval status, and buyer comments for proper documentation.
- Followed up on buyer feedback and ensured all revisions were implemented accurately.
- Ensured production samples met quality standards before bulk shipment.
- Prepared and managed Top of Production (TOP) samples as per buyer requirements.
- Verified garment measurements according to the approved size specification.
- Inspected stitching quality, workmanship, finishing, and overall garment appearance.
- Checked fabric, trims, labels, prints, embroidery, and wash quality for compliance with buyer standards.
