Location: Pune District, Maharashtra, India

  • About Kapittx

Kapittx (www.kapittx.com) is an AI-powered, cloud-based platform championing the digital transformation goals of CFOs and finance teams. We specialize in invoice-to-cash accounts receivable automation and reconciliation, integrated with B2B Payments — built for large enterprises and the finance teams that run them.

We’re ISO 27001, SOC 1, and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, and trusted by enterprise customers across industries.

Kapittx is founded by two payments-industry veterans — Kumar Karpe (ex-CEO, Ingenico ePayments India) and Anand Ramachandran (ex-CFO, Ingenico ePayments India) — so you’ll be learning the domain from people who have lived it.

  • Why this role is different

This isn’t a ticket-closing QA seat in a hundred-person team. You’ll work directly with the founders and a small, fast-moving engineering group, testing a product that handles real money movement and reconciliation for enterprise finance teams. You’ll see the why behind every feature, build genuine finance-domain expertise, and have your feedback actually shape the product.

We care less about how many tools you already know and more about how you think, how quickly you learn a domain, and whether you take ownership without being chased.

  • What you’ll do

•     Translate business requirements and user stories into clear, high-quality test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

•     Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing across our AR and B2B Payments platforms.

•     Identify, document, and track defects through the full defect lifecycle — then verify and retest fixes.

•     Analyze real user journeys in Accounts Receivable and B2B Payments, thinking through the different stakeholders involved (finance teams, customers, approvers).

•     Review the testability of requirements and flag gaps early, before they become bugs.

•     Collaborate with developers, product owners, and the founders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

•     Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and give direct, honest feedback on product quality and user experience.

•     Maintain clean testing documentation — test cases, test reports, defect reports — and keep status visible to your lead.

•     Contribute ideas in brainstorming and product discussions; we want your QA instinct in the room.

  • What we’re looking for

  • Experience

•     1–2 years in Manual Testing, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.

•     Strong candidates with less experience but exceptional logical and analytical ability are welcome to apply.

  • Education

•     Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, IT, Electronics, or any engineering discipline) or equivalent.

  • Core skills

•     Solid grasp of SDLC and STLC fundamentals.

•     Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and genuine attention to detail.

•     Ability to turn business requirements into structured test scenarios and cases.

•     Clear written and verbal communication — you can document a defect so a developer reproduces it on the first try.

•     Good problem-solving and troubleshooting instincts.

  • The traits that matter most to us

•     Self-driven — you take ownership of your work, manage your own deadlines, and don’t wait to be told the next step.

•     Domain-curious — you want to understand finance, payments, and reconciliation, not just test the screens.

•     Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and you learn on the move.

•     Positive, coachable, and eager to grow.

  • Bonus points

•     Exposure to defect-tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

•     Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working.

•     Any interest in or exposure to test automation — we use Selenium and Playwright, and there’s a clear growth path into automation for those who want it.

•     Basic understanding of financial processes, especially accounts receivable or B2B payments (a strong plus, not a must).

•     Understanding of AI evaluation systems — how AI/agent outputs are tested, scored, and validated for quality — is a strong plus as our platform grows more agentic.

  • What you’ll get

•     Direct mentorship from founders who built and scaled a payments business.

•     Deep, hands-on fintech domain knowledge that compounds fast in your career.

•     A real seat at the table — your QA judgment influences product decisions.

•     The chance to grow into automation and broader QA ownership as the platform scales.
