Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Quality Engineer to oversee every aspect of product and system quality, ensuring high standards and identifying potential weaknesses that could impact product performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to ensure the continuous improvement of our products. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive quality assessments for all products and systems, identifying and addressing potential weaknesses.
Develop, implement, and manage control plans to maintain high product quality.
Utilize APQP, FMEA, and PPAP processes to ensure consistency and quality in production.
Perform statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis to detect and correct process deviations.
Oversee supplier quality through incoming inspections and periodic system audits.
Apply problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement corrective actions effectively.
Collaborate with various teams to continuously improve processes and product quality.
Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and other software tools to analyze, present, and report quality metrics.
