Job Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to uphold and elevate our product integrity, food safety systems, and operational excellence. This is a critical leadership role where your technical expertise and commitment to quality will directly influence customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Plant Operations Manager and CEO/Founder and serve as a key member of the plant leadership team.
Oversee the coordination, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s QA Program.
Supervise daily activities of QC Technicians.
Identify and resolve food safety and quality issues; verify corrective actions are completed
Lead internal, third-party, and customer audits to ensure compliance with:
Federal, State, County, and City regulations.
Customer-specific requirements.
SQF Code, GMP, Pest Control, Glass Avoidance, SSOP/HACCP, and facility condition standards.
Conduct end-product safety and quality analysis.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Manage Hold and Release procedures.
Verify HACCP CCP monitoring records and ensure compliance.
Provide independent oversight of processes and communicate deviations from standards.
Develop and implement training programs on GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and product quality.
Investigate NCRs and customer/consumer complaints and ensure resolution.
Ensure all equipment calibrations are current and documented.
Collaborate with all departments of the company.
Support additional responsibilities and projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, (required)
Minor in Chemistry (preferred)
Proven experience in food quality and safety systems, with strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
Certifications:
SQF Practitioner (required)
PCQI and HACCP (preferred)
Strong understanding of food microbiology, chemistry, and FDA food regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Genesis software.
Strong working knowledge of FDA food regulations and 21 CFR requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and mentor others.
