Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our Chemical Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and evaluation. If products are not to specification changes in the manufacturing process will need to be made.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including FANN 35, FTIR, to perform measurements and assessments.
Document test results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of all quality control activities.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Support the manufacturing process by providing feedback on product quality during manufacturing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a quality control role.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems,
Proficiency in using conventional lab equipment
Familiarity with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
