JOB DESCRIPTION
WATA Software is actively looking for a QC Lead candidate to join our dynamic development team. Joining us, you will have a chance to work with our proactive and talented people, and you will have a chance to work directly with our clients from North America, Singapore, Japan, Korea, and Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and resource-manage the QA team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Define, implement, and optimize QA processes, methodologies, and best practices across the project lifecycle.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations for team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create comprehensive test reports, metrics, and KPIs, providing regular status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders and clients.
Automation & Manual Testing Strategy
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, or API platforms.
- Strategize the balance between manual and automated testing, maximizing test coverage and ROI for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Oversee and execute end-to-end testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Review and approve high-level test plans, test scenarios, and automated test scripts generated by the team.
Collaboration & Quality Governance
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to review requirements, technical designs, and establish clear acceptance criteria.
- Drive defect management processes, ensuring bugs are accurately identified, documented, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for QA-related matters, ensuring deliverables strictly align with client requirements and quality standards.
REQUIREMENT
- 5+ years of experience as a Manual/Auto QC Engineer.
- At least 1 year of experience leading/mentoring a QA team.
- Automation: Proficient in creating automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (using Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Manual & API: Strong foundation in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and API testing (Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured).
- CI/CD & Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions), Git, and Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical leadership, and good English communication.
