Responsibilities
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and quality assurance team members to define and document test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate requirements against developed software
Assist with functional, integration, and regression testing
Communicate bugs to development teams and track them to completion
Identify issues/risks proactively and communicate work progress to the project team during daily standup meetings
Attend project meetings and share technical expertise as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, information technology, or a related field
Background check required
This is a Hybrid position in San Antonio, TX. Team members are required to be in-office at least once per week.
This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship
2+ years of experience in testing web based applications
Experience with API testing using platforms like Postman
Experience with data analysis
Experience with SQL query to troubleshoot issues (preferred)
Experience with coding languages like Python (preferred)
Proficient understanding of the software testing life cycle
Experience working with an agile management tool such as JIRA (preferred)
Experience testing on multiple operating systems and browsers
Experience with QA Automation (preferred)
Familiar with WCAG standards for accessibility
Detail oriented, resourceful, creative, and must possess strong logical and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office products
