As a Level 3 Quality Inspector, you will conduct comprehensive inspections for in-process, first-off approvals, and final releases. Your responsibilities will involve using a range of measuring equipment and performing capability studies, maintaining precise inspection records. Leadership is key, as you will prioritize lab tasks and collaborate with different departments to uphold stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform first-off, in-process, and final release inspections
• Conduct capability studies to assess compliance with specifications
• Manage calibration and troubleshooting of gauging equipment
• Support metallurgy lab operations with inspections and part cutting
• Mentor junior inspectors and ensure health and safety compliance
Requirements:
• 5+ years automotive quality inspection experience
• Proficient in CMM and measurement equipment
• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Knowledge of AIAG MSA and SPC concepts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
