- Analyzing various type of waste and create a complete incoming waste inspection checklist to receive suitable and good quality waste for producing export yarn.
- Analyzing raw cotton and waste blends using HVI and AFIS instruments to check short fiber index (SFI), trash content, and moisture levels.
- Auditing the blow room, carding, and draw frame stages to monitor sliver hank, CV%, and spectrograms for periodic defects.
- Measuring critical yarn profiles including Count consistency, Evenness (CVm%), Imperfections (IPI – Thick, Thin places, Neps), Hairiness, and CLSP.
- Must have knowledge of all types of machine parameters, count settings etc.
- Ensure consistent Yarn Quality and continuously work in all machinery departments to check output material quality
- Collaborating with the Production Manager to execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on internal failures or buyer complaints, implementing long-term Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Develop and improve existing yarn quality and processes
- Develop New yarn Counts and Variety for diversification of factory products.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
- Skills: textile inspection, textile industry knowledge, textile testing, textile knowledge, textile industry
