Job Overview
Plan A Technologies is looking for a Manual QA to work on projects for several of our international clients. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as Manual QA with Kiosk or Casino Gaming experience to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Understand product functional requirements and work with cross-functional teams to identify software defects, create test plans, and execute test cases.
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of our software applications.
Use automated testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Document and report issues and bugs to the development team.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and to ensure the overall quality of the software.
Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and methodologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Experience with Kiosks or Casino Gaming projects.
Experience testing data-driven software applications and good exposure to testing web-based applications and APIs.
Familiarity with testing tools and automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, Burp Suite, ZAP, Postman etc.
Familiar with command prompt/terminal.
Basic understanding of 5/7 layer OSI model.
Intermediate level of MS Windows and Internet Browser knowledge.
Deep understanding of technical/test plans writing.
Nice to have: Automation skills/interest (help with testing automation).
Able to work both independently on projects and tasks and as a member of a geographically dispersed team.
Great attention to detail.
Have solid written and verbal communication skills.
Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
