We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our web and IoT products. Your focus will be on manual testing, ensuring that the functionality, usability, and reliability of our systems meet the highest standards before they are released to customers.
The position includes:
Perform thorough manual testing of web and IoT applications to ensure they meet product specifications and user requirements.
Create, maintain, and execute test cases, bug reports, and other documentation related to testing.
Identify, record, and track defects through the entire bug life cycle.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide input on test design.
Execute regression, functional, integration, and UI/UX testing for web and IoT systems.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and unexpected behaviors.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, and product managers) to resolve defects and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process optimizations for testing practices.
Perform testing on IoT devices, ensuring proper interaction with software systems, and validating device behavior and data accuracy.
Requirements:
2 + years of experience in manual QA testing, ideally in both web applications and IoT systems.
Relevant QA certification, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field- advantage
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
Experience with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for bug tracking and test case management.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Experience with cross-browser testing, mobile, and device testing.
Familiarity with IoT protocols, devices, and sensors.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience in testing IoT platforms, devices, and integrations – advantage
Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus, but not required – advantage.
Experience in performance and security testing – advantage.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment – advantage.
