Quality Assurance Analyst – Manual Testing (Hybrid 2-3 times per MONTH | Monterrey)
We’re currently looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to join a fast-paced and collaborative technology team focused on delivering high-quality applications and system enhancements.
This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about software quality, testing processes, and backend validation.

Hybrid role based in Monterrey, Mexico
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and analyze features, requirements, and user stories
- Design and execute functional and regression test cases
- Validate backend data using SQL queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Perform API validations using Postman and/or Swagger
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA team members
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Support release validation and post-production testing
- Help troubleshoot issues and ensure overall product quality
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing
- Strong SQL/T-SQL querying skills (must-have)
- Experience validating data in SQL Server environments
- Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS
Nice to Have
- API testing experience using Postman or Swagger
- Agile certifications or formal Agile training
- Reinsurance or insurance industry experience
