What Success Looks Like In This Role
Manual Software testing
Understanding of SDLC & STLC – Software Development Life Cycle & Software Testing Life Cycle.
Understanding of Agile process –
Test Case Design & Execution – Ability to create, execute, and manage test cases.
Defect Tracking Tools – Experience with tools like JIRA
Basic SQL Knowledge – Ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
API Testing – Familiarity with API testing using Postman (optional but beneficial).
Mobile & Web Testing – Understanding of mobile and cross-browser testing.
Automation Awareness – Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium is a plus but not mandatory.
You will be successful in this role if you have:

Analytical Thinking – Ability to find edge cases and think like an end user.
Communication Skills – Ability to write clear test reports and communicate findings with developers.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers.
Experience & Education
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Not always mandatory, but preferred).
Certifications (Optional but Valuable) – ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification can boost credibility.
