Shift

Core Responsibilities
- Execute first piece, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect incoming vendor materials and verify outgoing customer shipments
- Interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and control plans
- Operate precision metrology: ID/OD micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMMs, Hofler gear inspection machine, tooth verniers
- Program and run manual and CNC CMMs (PC-DMIS / Modus preferred)
- Own calibration activities and records
- Identify/reject nonconformances and collaborate on corrective actions
- Guide production personnel on proper measurement techniques
- Support PPAP/ISIR, capability studies, and first article processes
- Maintain organized quality documentation and customer files
- Contribute to internal audits and supplier quality initiatives
Qualifications
- 2–4 years in manufacturing and/or quality assurance
- Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measuring equipment
- Foundational math and geometry
- Calibration experience is required
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
- Bevel gear manufacturing experience preferred
