Position: Mechanical Quality Specialist for Naval Programs

This full-time position emphasizes keeping high-quality benchmarks in naval construction. You will leverage your mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills over the contract, ensuring thorough monitoring of supplier performance. Your leadership in addressing non-conformances will promote excellence in our advanced naval projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead contract negotiations to embed quality in purchasing
• Approve supplier quality documents and testing plans
• Attend critical project meetings with suppliers
• Oversee non-conformance management and corrective actions
• Monitor and enhance supplier quality performance
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• 4 to 7 years of experience with mechanical systems
• Inspection experience with mechanical systems is an asset
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required
