We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Elmhurst, IL. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough quality inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform precise measurements and ensure compliance with specifications.
Employ calipers and micrometers for accurate dimensional checks.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control data.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control procedures and standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality inspection and quality control within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and their applications.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in quality assurance are a plus.
