About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team in Guadalajara. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through thorough manual testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to identify issues early, validate fixes, and contribute to delivering high-quality releases across multiple platforms and hardware configurations.
This position is ideal for someone committed to building a long-term career in quality assurance. This position is fully on-site in Guadalajara and requires working in the office full-time.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple products and platforms.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and testing matrices to ensure thorough coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard QA workflows and tools.
- Perform testing across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Mobile environments.
- Test products across different hardware and software configurations to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Participate in hardware testing, including devices such as VR systems, when applicable.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve product quality.
- Produce clear and structured test reports to communicate testing results and quality status.
- Support release cycles by ensuring testing coverage and validating builds prior to deployment.
- Continuously contribute to improving testing processes and documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- 2–3 years of professional experience in software testing.
- Strong experience with manual testing, particularly User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience testing across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Mobile).
- Strong understanding of hardware and software configuration environments.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining test cases and test documentation.
- Experience working as an enterprise tester, demonstrating commitment to a long-term QA career.
- Ability to identify issues, reproduce bugs, and document them clearly for technical teams.
- Comfortable working on-site full-time in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in testing hardware devices, particularly VR systems.
- Interest in AI integration within software products.
- Experience with or interest in test automation, grey-box, or white-box testing.
- Engineering or technical background.
- Experience writing formal QA reports and quality assessments.
