- Ticket Quality and Process Maintenance
- Perform second-level check of ticket quality according to BMW PbM process and TRI Compass, including comparison to existing tickets and known issues.
- Conduct second-level check and trigger PF to react in tickets as ticket progress checker.
- Provide internal consultation on BMW problem management process and rules.
- Ensure tickets are processed according to process time limits for defect transition.
- Ensure tickets are following showstopper process.
- Issue Prioritization
- Lead the evaluation in issue review meetings.
- Evaluate and filter top issues from functionality point of view and user experience point of view, and align with FVV and VTC-E.
- Maintain top issue overview of products across vehicle models.
- Issues Reporting and Escalation
- Generate ticket statistics and status reports.
- Represent EG-74 CN participation in regular external issue exchange meetings with pre-alignment internal EG-74 CN.
- Provide ticket retest requirements to test team.
- Support regular reporting for vehicle and function sign-off recommendation.
- Support long-term problem solving process within development for current and future vehicle requirements.
- Stakeholder Alignment and Coordination
- Regularly exchange with local market responsible persons (e.g., local FO for Navigation) to align on: a) found issues, b) severity of issues, c) problem solving timeline.
- Regularly exchange with test managers to ensure all maturity grad blocking issues are tagged in BEAT as well as in Octane.
- Follow up with the responsible domain/person in BMW AG if tickets are not processed on CoC side.
- Equipment Preparation and Maintenance
- Install and update necessary software tools and relevant licenses (provided by supplier).
- Prepare and maintain necessary hardware and working equipment (provided by supplier; BCS/BBA related data must be deleted after employee off-boarding or project end). Requirements:
- 3-5 years of working experience in automotive testing field, with fundamental knowledge of vehicle E/E and mechanical engineering.
- Proficient in automotive design software or automotive simulation/testing software.
- Good understanding of different automotive brands in the market and user driving habits.
- C1 driving license.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to write technical reports in English.
- Capable of leading test issue resolution and driving problem-solving activities.
