Position: In Process Quality Control Inspector
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that in process parts & materials are reviewed for quality compliance during production flow.
- Assist in determining parts conformance and serviceability.
- Performing in process inspections to ensure compliance with maintenance documentation and quality of workmanship.
- Verify P/N and S/N on items.
- Review article trace documentation to accurately identify suspect unapproved parts.
- Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and/or work Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Holder of FAA Airframe and or Power plant (A&P) license or repairman certificate Preferred.
- At Least 18 months of aviation experience Required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and comply with OSHA standards.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
