About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Tielt. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive machinery, with a focus on precision engineering and efficiency.
Analyze and improve production workflows to enhance performance, quality, and sustainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to implement innovative solutions for automotive machinery manufacturing.
Lead projects from concept through implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, proactively optimizing complex manufacturing systems.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting new technologies, tooling advancements, and automation techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Electrical, Chemical, or Automotive Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the automotive or machinery industry (exceptional recent graduates with strong technical skills will also be considered).
Expertise in manufacturing processes, including precision machining, assembly, and material properties.
Familiarity with quality control methodologies, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation, and engineering tools related to automotive machinery manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing production systems.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
