Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their established team at their Newcastle site, supporting high-speed manufacturing operations on a rotating shift basis.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification Take appropriate and timely actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products to customers Identify and analyse high-risk activities, trends, and events within the production process Work proactively with manufacturing teams, using data-driven insights and personal initiative Act as a central point of contact for customer-related and plant quality issues Support quality standards across multiple work areas, working flexibly where safety and competence allow Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential:
Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment Background in high-speed production environments Strong knowledge of ISO standards , SPC (Statistical Process Control) , HACCP , and Continuous Improvement methodologies Confident using data, systems, spreadsheets, and databases to support quality decisions Desirable: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline Personal Attributes A strong team player with a commercial mindset Self-motivated, methodical, and systematic in approach to problem-solving Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support change Demonstrates leadership qualities and an ability to support continuous improvement initiatives Next Steps Apply today, and a member of the Manpower Engineering team will review your application and arrange a confidential call at a time that suits you.
