Position Overview
Responsible for managing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring food safety and quality compliance, and overseeing line workers, customer communications, and supply ordering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Manufacturing & Quality Operations
- Manage hands-on daily production, workflow, and output quality.
- Implement and maintain HACCP standards and food safety procedures.
- Produce and test samples for new product development.
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and facility supplies (monitoring and reordering).
- Address facility/equipment issues and escalate them to upper management promptly.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and step in to cover shifts as needed.
2. On-Site Staff Management
- Create, manage, and adjust daily shift schedules.
- Direct, train, and guide general production line staff.
- Monitor daily work progress and step in to assist line workers during peak operations.
- Report staffing and resource requirements to upper management.
3. Customer & Administrative Support
- Process and summarize customer orders.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding orders, shipping, and delivery status.
- Conduct final quality inspections before product delivery.
- Handle order billing and basic invoice management.
4. Vendor & Inventory Management
- Audit inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials to place vendor orders.
- Manage equipment, operating supplies, and vendor purchase requests.
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
