We are looking for an innovative and experienced quality analyst to join our team. The quality analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.
To be successful as a quality analyst, you should demonstrate strong attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues.
Requirements
QA Analyst Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. Some employers may consider equivalent work experience or relevant certifications.
Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role, typically 2-5+ years.
Experience in software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with testing methodologies such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and/or user acceptance testing (UAT).
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting languages for test automation.
Knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing.
Ability to execute and validate test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
