As a Manufacturing Laborer at Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (“Ashley”), you will be pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. Assigned to various roles in our manufacturing facility, you’ll receive comprehensive instructions on our standard operating procedures for each task. Your primary goal is to adhere to these procedures meticulously while at your designated station.
**What You’ll Take On:**
Skillfully configure and use jigs for assembling parts.
Examine components for flaws, making necessary repairs or notifying relevant personnel about any defects.
Precisely log production details using scanners, computers, or manually.
Master operating machinery and hand tools, following specific guidelines for each device.
Check assembled products for quality; rectify and refine any imperfections.
Efficiently pack finished items by hand or with tools.
Keep your workspace and equipment clean; report malfunctions and repair if feasible.
Transport materials in and out of work zones with suitable equipment.
Adjust your workstation for optimal ergonomic comfort.
Join team gatherings and show your dedication through active participation.
Engage in all scheduled training programs and mentor your peers.
Propose enhancements to fine-tune our processes.
Consistently achieve satisfactory productivity levels.
Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
