Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and skilled QA Engineer (QA2) with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications by designing robust test cases, identifying defects, and maintaining automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understandrequirements and prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  •  Executefunctional, regression, integration, and system testing (both manual and automated).
  • Develop,maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
  •  Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Collaboratewith developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
  • Participatein defect triage meetings and provide root cause analysis.
  • Ensuretimelyand high-quality releases through continuous testing and feedback.

Required Skills

  • 6 Months to 3 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance with strongproficiencyin manual and automation testing.
  • Solidhands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
  •  Strongunderstanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and test management
  • Experiencein test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit,PyTest, or similar.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Abilityto write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
  • Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Nice To Have

  • Exposure toperformance or security testing.
  • Knowledgeof version control systems like Git.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Experience: 1 – 3 years
