We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our growing team.
Position: QA Engineer
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid Model)
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous test design, execution, and defect management. You will be an integral part of our Scrum teams, actively collaborating with developers to troubleshoot issues and contribute to the overall success of our projects. This role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing methodologies and practices. 🧑💻
- Proven ability to design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. ✔️
- Demonstrated experience in defect tracking, management, and reporting. 📈
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. 🔍
- Excellent ability to troubleshoot software issues and collaborate effectively with development teams. 💡
- Proficiency in working within an Agile/Scrum development environment. 🏃
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level), for effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction. 🗣️
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- Previous experience in the Insurance or Banking sectors. 🏦
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. 🤖
- Familiarity with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance, security). 🛡️
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing. 🗄️
- Experience with API testing. 🌐
Work Model
This is a hybrid position. We expect our QA Engineers to be in the Barcelona office 2-3 times per month, allowing for flexibility while fostering team collaboration and in-person engagement. 🏠🏢
