Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or Chemical Engineering with minimum GPA of 7.5 and above
7-9 year of work experience with minimum of 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)
Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)
Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including Well construction and Well completions
Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tools.
Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
