QE Lead – End-to-End Transformation Testing
Melbourne, Australia | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) | Contract Opportunity
CloudMarc is looking for an experienced Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to drive quality across a large-scale, complex enterprise transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end testing across multiple business and technology domains while shaping the overall testing strategy and automation approach.
As the QE Lead, you will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and developers to ensure high-quality delivery across the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance across complex, multi-domain enterprise initiatives.
- Define and own the overall Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Data Strategy, and Test Environment Strategy.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple delivery teams.
- Drive test execution, defect triage sessions, issue resolution, and quality governance.
- Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Champion a risk-based testing approach across the program.
- Define and implement test automation strategies and best practices.
- Establish automation standards and improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to drive Shift-Left Testing practices.
- Mentor and guide testing teams while promoting quality engineering best practices.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-domain end-to-end testing initiatives.
- Strong background in Quality Engineering leadership.
- Extensive experience developing enterprise Test Strategies and Test Plans.
- Experience managing complex testing environments and test data.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience leading governance, reporting, risk management, and quality assurance activities.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and automation strategy.
- Experience implementing automation best practices and standards.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Shift-Left testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
