As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a skilled and proactive QA Lead to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our product delivers a seamless, high-quality experience for our customers. You’ll lead and scale a QA team that supports a fast-moving engineering organisation across multiple platforms, from mobile apps to AI and machine learning services.
Responsibilities
Lead QA efforts across iOS, Android, Web, Backend, AI, and ML domains, managing and mentoring a team of 5 QA engineers
Shape and evolve QA and release processes, ensuring quality is baked into every development lifecycle stage
Run hands-on testing of critical customer-facing features, when needed
Grow the team by hiring new QA engineers and onboarding them effectively
Support career growth by setting clear personal development plans, tracking progress, and offering regular feedback to QA team members
Act as a bridge between QA and engineering/stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, risks, and release readiness
We expect that you have
5+ years of hands-on manual testing experience, including mobile apps
2+ years working with test automation or leading automation initiatives
Proven team leadership in QA
Solid understanding of the testing pyramid, with practical experience in API, UI, and integration testing
Familiarity with release pipelines and CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity
Hands-on experience with test case and defect tracking tools like Qase, TestRail, or similar
Strong skills in writing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports
Comfortable with SQL for data validation and using network sniffers like Charles Proxy or Fiddler
Experience with test automation frameworks, especially Appium (using WebDriver) for mobile
Effective communication skills with a focus on clarity, transparency, and assertiveness
Ability to approach situations as tasks rather than problems
Adept at organising people and accomplishing goals through teamwork
