Position Summary

Our fortune 79 Telecommunications client is seeking an experienced QA Analyst III to support their billing system automation from CSG to Salesforce, as well as critical customer-facing systems and enterprise applications. This individual will be responsible for leading manual testing efforts, developing comprehensive test strategies, executing test cases, and partnering closely with business, development, product, and offshore QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience testing within Salesforce environments, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to coordinate testing activities across geographically distributed teams. Experience within telecommunications, billing, or customer management systems is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
  • Validate system functionality, integrations, workflows, and end-to-end business processes.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
  • Conduct regression, integration, functional, user acceptance, and system testing activities.
  • Coordinate testing efforts and communicate status updates with offshore QA and development teams.
  • Support production releases through validation testing and post-deployment verification.
  • Analyze defects and assist with root cause investigations.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related roles.
  • Strong background in manual testing of enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience testing within Salesforce environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality, workflows, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed test documentation.
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and manage defects through resolution.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with and coordinating activities across offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CSG billing systems or telecommunications billing platforms.
  • Telecommunications or cable industry experience.
  • Experience testing CRM, order management, customer care, or billing applications.
  • Familiarity with API testing and system integrations.
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or other test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations with downstream systems.
