Job Summary:

The QA/QC Controller is responsible for ensuring the quality of products or services by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to identify defects or deviations from standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Develop and Implement Quality Control Processes: Create and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and standards.

The preparation of the company’s QA manual, control, and supervision of all amendments and revisions

3.     Conduct Inspections and Tests: Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure products or services meet quality standards.

4.     Identify and Report Defects: Identify defects or deviations from standards and report them to relevant stakeholders.

5.     Conduct Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

6.     Verify that contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.

7.     Collaborate with Production Team: Work with the production team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

8.     Attend client quality management meetings

9.     The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.

10. Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit findings.

11. Continuously Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.

12. Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements

13. Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.

14. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

15. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC manager

16. Coordinate all quality-related correspondence with the customer representatives.

17. Monitor statistical method reporting.

18. Action and close all customer complaints

19. Control all the documentation achieved upon the completion of the project.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance).

2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.

3. Skills:

   – Strong knowledge of quality control principles and standards.

   – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

   – Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

   – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma, are desirable.

Performance Metrics:

1. Defect Rate: Reduction in defect rate through effective quality control measures.

2. Audit Compliance: Compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

3. Process Improvement: Implementation of process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

4. Customer Satisfaction: Improvement in customer satisfaction through delivery of high-quality products or services.
