Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of waterproofing works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
Monitor site activities to ensure waterproofing application is performed correctly and safely.
Review and verify waterproofing method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Perform routine site surveillance and detailed inspections during key stages of waterproofing application.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project engineers to ensure proper implementation of waterproofing systems.
Document all inspection findings and generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
Track and verify corrective and preventive actions related to waterproofing issues.
Ensure that all waterproofing materials delivered to the site meet quality standards and are stored/handled properly.
Witness and verify water tightness and adhesion tests, such as flood tests, adhesion pull tests, or electronic leak detection.
Provide technical support and training to the project team on waterproofing best practices.
Maintain up-to-date records of inspection reports, site photos, and compliance checklists.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
