Olympic Scientific is seeking to fill a position for a Laboratory Technician. This individual will work with the supervisors, and other laboratory staff to aid in specimen testing, processing, reporting and quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of test results
Strong attention to detail to ensure samples and testing are accurately represented
Prepare reagents, pH analysis, and other wet lab analysis
Perform routine calibrations of instruments, pyrometry, metallurgical analysis, abrasion testing, corrosion testing and other assigned lab duties.
Read and understand technical specifications
Support ongoing laboratory compliance
Promote a positive work environment while supporting management and business goals
Complete other tasks as needed, for laboratory operations
Training is provided for all tasks
Hours: 7:30-4pm,

Experience:
Lab experience (academic or professional): 0-2 year
Strong preferences given for candidates with:
Completed chemistry courses or degree
Lab experience: 1+ year (Preferred)
Science background in chemistry
Previous laboratory experience
Excellent time management and organization
Manual dexterity to handle various laboratory instruments and perform laboratory procedures with care.
