Summary
The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring that finished product meets customer and regulatory requirements. The Quality Lab Technician will ensure implementation, execution, and documentation of quality related processes with a focus on Wet Lab operations. They will execute and maintain quality policies, standards, procedures, and industry best practices with a focus on the Wet Lab area. The Quality Lab Technician will test, track, analyze, and report on Wet Lab processes, providing feedback and insight to area managers. The Quality Lab Technician will also provide production support throughout wet lab processes and support continuous improvement initiatives as required. As a member of the Quality Team, the Quality Lab Technician may be tasked with completing inspections and providing support to all areas of manufacturing with responsibilities to include receiving inspections, first piece inspections, in-process inspections, final inspections, documentation reviews, and final release of product.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Be proficient in the use, calibration, and adjustment of lab instruments to perform daily tasks. Complete lab testing while maintaining records required to prove all materials tested are within customer specifications.
· Maintain laboratory area—general upkeep, making sure equipment and chemicals are within calibration range, and keeping supplies stocked.
· Management of lab materials inventory.
· Utilize the Quality Management System Software to assist in creation/revision of production work instructions, forms, and other production related documentation.
· Perform required inspections to validate operator in-process quality checks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
