Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a QA Test Engineer Test Specialist for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Auburn Hills, MI.
Responsibilities:
Learn complex business functionality and be able to perform requirements and User Story analysis for creating detailed test designs and conditions.
Writes reusable test components, both application-independent and application-dependent.
Prepare manual testing and test automation estimation.
Assist with setup and maintenance of test environments and test data.
Performs analysis to identify automation candidates.
Report and track defects and validate fixes through resolution.
Provide traceability from business requirements and technical specifications to test conditions and problem reports.
Participate in detailed User Story reviews and walkthrough sessions.
Willing and able to knowledge transfer/mentor peers on test automation best practices where appropriate.
Track issues to successful resolution.
Required Skills:
Experienced in the Testing Engineer (Quality Assurance / Test Specialist) role.
Familiar with Win
11 and RHEL.
Needs to have a minimum of 2+ yrs of testing experience.
