Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/Tester Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for comprehensive testing strategies, including both manual testing and automated test development. This role requires a keen eye for detail and expertise in modern testing tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform manual testing for web applications and APIs
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve quality issues
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (i.e Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with API testing tools (i.e Postman, Insomnia)
- Knowledge of test management tools (i.e Jira, TestRail)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and STLC
- Experience with bug tracking and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as software developer is a plus
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated testing is a plus
- Understanding of database testing is a plus
- Experience with mobile application testing is a plus
