Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA / Testing Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of products while gaining hands-on experience in software testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web, mobile, or desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues
- Write and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform manual and basic automated testing
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
- Validate fixes and ensure application quality
- Participate in test planning and reporting
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques
- Basic knowledge of web applications and browsers
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium
- Basic knowledge of programming (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Understanding of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
