Job Title: QC Technician (Infusion) Date: XX/XX/2025
Job Description: The Quality Control (QC) Technician is expected to monitor and document the production process within the Infusion department. He/she must follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to complete all assigned tasks. The QC Technician must be able to meet a high standard of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This position requires mutual respect, active communication and collaborative teamwork.
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Calibrate analytical instruments on a scheduled basis
- Use analytical instruments to obtain
o Brix values using refractometers
o Temperature values using thermometers
o Titratable acid values using pH meters
o Weight of fruit samples using weighing scales
- Visually inspect any material rejected by the optical sorter
- Record observations on forms
o Physical format – respective MF 14XX forms
o Digital format – Infusion Turns Log (data entry)
- Assist in the grading of fruits
General QC Technician Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspection and record observations on cGMP Infusion Checklist
- Perform pre-operational sanitation verification using ATP swabs and ATP reader
- Submit work orders for food safety related maintenance issue
- Initiate Hold for non-conforming items
- Assist in the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) by swabbing areas in Infusion
- Assist in the training of new team members
- Report any issues or unusual observations to the QC Lead
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by QC Lead or Quality management

Employment Requirements:
