Position Overview
Summary: The Sample Management Analyst I, under general direction, will be responsible for supporting samples submitted to the Quality Control (QC) Laboratory. This includes managing receipt, organization, and inventory of samples from manufacturing, clients, other Fujifilm facilities, and third parties. The role involves arranging sample shipments for testing and controlling the dispensing of samples for QC testing.

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow SOPs and GLP/GMP guidelines.
Manage test samples, critical reagents, and reference materials.
Perform shipments to external testing facilities and clients.
Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in Sample Management laboratories.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
Fulfill QC sample requests.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
Follow safety procedures per the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
Use SDS sheets to assess chemical hazards and PPE requirements.
Exhibit excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in computer use.
Accurately complete documentation.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Manual dexterity for operating office equipment.
Sitting for long periods at a computer.
Lift up to 15 lbs regularly, up to 30 lbs occasionally.
Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and materials.
Wearing PPE such as safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, and lab attire.
Attendance is mandatory.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; GMP experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related field; GMP experience preferred.
