Job Description
Candidate will be an ambassador to drive quality within the team and is in charge of all testing activities including exploratory/usability/performance/acceptance/integration/security testing. Candidate is expected to automate tests and processes where possible to drive value and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Develop tests and test strategies to ensure product correctness before launch
• Perform test activities incl. exploratory, usability, performance, and integration testing
• Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality
• Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing
• Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics to measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product
Qualifications
• Solid engineering background with experience in Java, JavaScript and HTML
• Min 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge on testing concepts and practices
• Experience with testing tools like Jenkins, Selenium, Page Objects
• Knowledge of Agile techniques (TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
• Knowledge about Load, Performance, Usability and Security testing
• Experience on test data creation and management
• Knowledge of Gherkin language or similar and BDD
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
