Role Description The Quality Assurance Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Stockholm, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of PACOM’s security and business management solutions. This role oversees QA activities across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, test case design, manual and automated testing, and defect management. The Quality Assurance Lead collaborates closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to define quality standards, improve processes, and ensure timely releases that meet functional and security requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding QA team members, reviewing test coverage, analyzing metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in testing practices and tools. The role also involves documenting QA procedures, supporting compliance efforts, and contributing to risk assessments and post-release reviews.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, test case design, and execution for complex, integrated systems.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools, and familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
- Background in security, enterprise, or SaaS solutions, with an understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance testing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead QA activities, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on measurable results.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in international or distributed teams; strong written and spoken English skills, with Swedish language skills considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.
