Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Assistant to join a busy, well-organised, fast-paced global manufacturer.
Job Overview
This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products remains at the highest standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager this role plays a vital part in guaranteeing the availability of trustworthy data through the correct development of quality control lab activities. In this entry-level position, you will perform routine quality testing of products and provide analytical data based on your findings.

- Working Monday – Friday on a rotating shift pattern. Mornings 6:00am – 14:00pm & Afternoons 14:00pm – 22:00pm.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and carry out lab tests (raw materials and finished product) in accordance with the operational procedures
- Maintain the laboratory inventory ensuring the cleanliness of the tools
- Streamline the laboratory processes and maintaining lab cleanliness.
- Analyse competitor’s products according to defined methods
- Perform and maintain all laboratory equipment verifications and calibrations
- Promote a safety-bound corporate culture
- Apply the Corporate Principles and Values
