Quality Assurance Analyst – 40 Hours – Days Jobs in Detroit, MI at Henry Ford Health

We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Inline Inspector to join our growing team! This role is responsible for performing quality checks throughout the assembly process, conducting final inspections, and ensuring products meet company standards before shipping. The Inline Inspector helps identify problems early, maintains accurate records, and supports continuous improvement efforts.

This position supports a manufacturing plant with approximately 200 employees and is part of a $7.2 billion global manufacturer.

Essential Job Functions
Perform inline inspection checks during the production process to ensure procedures are being followed correctly.
Conduct final inspection checks on completed Switchgear products and document results before shipping.
Accurately record and maintain inspection data for quality reporting and compliance.
Gather and analyze data to support continuous improvement activities within the department.
Communicate timely and effectively with team members and management about any quality issues or concerns.
Participate in team efforts to improve the quality and performance of Switchgear products.
Assist in identifying recurring issues and contribute ideas to solve problems and improve processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the quality and production teams.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and document product issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.
Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Willingness to learn and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Physical / ADA Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time during shifts.
Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs. as needed.
Frequent bending, reaching, and movement required for inspections.
May be required to use visual aids, tools, and measuring devices for inspections.
