AG|CM compensated our employees based on their experience, skills, and knowledge. Salary commensurate with the experience level of the applicant. If you have expereience levels above the minimum required for the position, there will be serious discussion about compensation above the salary stated.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to perform quality assurance services on Civil and roadway construction, including work classified under but not limited to the following Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) divisions: existing conditions, concrete, masonry, metals, wood, plastics, and composites, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, special construction, conveying equipment, fire suppression, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, earthwork, exterior improvements and site utilities. Primary objectives of the position are 1) defect prevention, 2) defect detection by a) visual inspection and b) special inspection and testing results reported by quality control professionals and technicians and 3) to assure construction conforms to the construction documents. Reports observations to the Construction or Project Manager, or as otherwise indicated in the project organizational structure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years’ demonstrated experience as a horizontal, civil and roadway, TxDot/ USACoE, Water/WW/SWPP, engineering- QA Inspector
3+ years’ emphasis on infrastructure, SW pollution prevention, mechanical and electrical inspection knowledge
Extensive knowledge of civil and roadway construction practices, means, methods, techniques, sequences and workmanship standards
Extensive knowledge of civil and roadway building materials, assemblies and equipment associated with the CSI Divisions indicated above
General knowledge of materials testing and special inspection requirements, equipment and procedures
Professional written and verbal communication, arithmetic, geometry, algebra and basic trigonometry
Basic software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Reader/ Acrobat
Basic use of computer to store, organize, retrieve, create and edit documents, photographs, videos and other files
Plan, specification, submittal, shop drawing, schedule and other technical documents review and analysis
Organizational and analytical skills
EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree or experience equivalent to Bachelor’s degree
LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS: Current, valid Texas Driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PE License preferred
Undergraduate Degree; College degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Architectual or Engineering or other relevant field
CQI/ CQA Certification through ASQ, ICC Certifications, or comparable QA certifying organization
Experience in working for entity specifically hired as owner’s representative to oversee commercial construction projects is highly desirable.
