As the Company is expanding here in Lithuania and looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst, we are looking forward to finding out whether it is YOU, who will join our ambitious team in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures and AML/CTF regulations.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and process deviations during QA process, record findings, and prepare structured reports for review by senior QA and Compliance team.
- Support the preparation of periodic QA reports and statistical summaries, highlighting key trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in QA testing of sanctions screening and identity verification systems (service providers); document testing results and assist in evaluating system performance.
- Monitor relevant sanctions list updates and regulatory changes, ensuring timely escalation to senior QA and Compliance colleagues.
- Collaborate with Operations and Compliance teams to provide feedback, clarifications, and support on AML/CTF-related matters.
- Contribute to QA framework development by suggesting practical improvements to checklists, sampling methods, and documentation standards.
- Perform other AML/CTF-related tasks as assigned to support the Quality Assurance and Compliance functions.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in AML/CTF and QA within the financial services, fintech, payments, or acquiring industry (experience in a high-risk merchant or payments operations environment is an advantage).
- Good understanding of high-risk merchant categories (e.g., gambling, FX/CFD, crypto, financial-services), including high-risk underwriting, merchant onboarding, and risk-assessment of complex industries.
- Solid knowledge of AML/KYC/KYB principles, financial crime prevention, and the Lithuanian/EU AML/CTF regulatory framework (including CDD/EDD/ODD, sanctions screening, PEP checks, adverse media, and SOF/SOW requirements).
- Ability to identify discrepancies or procedural gaps within QA reviews and assist in implementing process or control improvements.
- Proactive and responsible “can-do” attitude with strong organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and IT teams; willingness to learn from senior QA and Compliance professionals and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.
- Fluency in English.
